I have always been drawn to a strong life of prayer especially prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. My family prayer life when I was a child was a great inspiration to me and helped me to discover my vocation to the religious life.

I am originally from Bangladesh, and after spending a few years in France with our sisters there, I joined the community in Kentucky. I have been serving in the kitchen at a Catholic nursing home for the past 14 years. It puts me in contact with many of the needs of other people which I carry to my time of prayer for them. Prayer and ministry truly do go together; they are not two separate events in my life.``
