| Sisters of the Lamb of God For an ever greater love |
Hi, I'm Sister Audrey Mary, and so glad you have come to meet me. I'll tell you a little about
how I discovered God calling me to be a religious and the joy and fulfillment it has
brought me.
When I was very young I was drawn to the peacefulness and holiness of religious life.
However as I grew, like all children, I also dreamed of a family with six children--3 boys
and 3 girls. But God would make known to me through my friendships with many
boyfriends in high school that I was not to love only one but all of his creatures
unconditionally, and so I discovered my vocation to the religious life.
I chose the Sisters of the Lamb of God because of their freedom of choice in the kind of
apostolic work one can do and also, most importantly, I was drawn to their spirit--of
meekenss and humility of the Lamb of God as he lived it throughout his life on earth,
especially in the paschal mystery.
I have been very happy here. This community is truly an image of the Kingdom where all
who have a religious vocation and can live our spirit are welcome. We have people from
many different countries and cultures. Even those with some physical disabilities have
always been accepted.
Since joining the order, I have taught Kindergarten, and worked in a nursing home. I also
lead the formation program for those in America.
